Repeat Buyer-Thanks Matt!

Born 5-6-20 “Roper” is a bay stallion with a small star, left rear partial pastern in front, inside and higher in the back. We have chosen two themes this year to name our foals, one is using names of Texas cities or towns and the other to continue with western names for only our Whoop foals.

His dam, Shezatwoeyed Playgun aka JoJo was purchased as a weanling to add more Playgun influence to our program by crossing with our Paddys Irish Whiskey sons. She is an 87% NFQHA (F0039282) bay very sweet daughter of PG Dry Fire. He has earned a total RGP earnings of $146,871 in NRCHA and NCHA events. He has been nicknamed the "Horseman's Horse", he continues to rack up titles and earnings almost every time he enters the arena. He is an exceptional horse with the color, confirmation, breeding and soundness who is a reflection of many generations of great breeding programs and will assure his offspring remain on the "most wanted list". JoJo’s dam is Pitzer bred through and through which we like.

This is JoJo’s first foal and by Whoop Up Whiskey. ‘Whoop’ is a 2010 son of Paddys Irish Whiskey and out of a great John Scott mare, My Little Sugar Babe. The Paddys Irish Whiskey horses are making a name for themselves in everything from cutting to cowhorse events to roping horses and are very versatile.  A key difference between Whoop Up Whiskey and our other PIW son, TRR Paddys Texas Gin, is the dam pedigree. While both dams go back to Doc O Lena, Whoop’s goes to Doc O Dynamite who also stood at the John Scott Ranch. Doc O Dynamite was an Equi-State leading cutting sire from 1999-2005 who produced money earners and according to his performance record, his daughters have produced many money earning foals in AQHA, NCHA, NRHA and NRCHA. Doc O Dynamite has a pedigree that traces back to Three Bars giving a bit more stretch and speed to his offspring and shows up on the pedigree of many arena and speed event horses. Whoop Up Whiskey aka Whoop brings that little more height and length and speed to our program as compared to TRR Paddys Texas Gin. He has excellent bone, athleticism, and conformation. His lineage tells us that his offspring will have cow and will be capable of performing at any level. Whoop’s foals are breaking out really kind and levelheaded.

We are always excited when a first-time mom has a baby after waiting for over a year to see our plan. We are incredibly pleased with Roper and would fully expect him to have the athletic ability to perform in the arena or be an exceptional ranch horse.

“Don’t miss a chance to COWBOY UP with a WHISKEY UP foal!”
