Remuda started well under saddle and could have gone on to any event we pointed her toward, but we really wanted her for a broodmare. She was bred spring 2019 for a 2020 foal by Metallic Malice. He is homozygous roan so the foal is a bay roan stallion, Metallic Remuda.
We have attempted to breed her back ever since then with no success. She had a vet check spring 2022 that included a uterine biopsy. The biopsy showed problems for her to carry a pregnancy. She also had a uterine infection that we flushed & cleared up. We believe that she cycles fine, gets bred & does not implant. We do not want to attempt to do more intensive work with her such as regumate, AI etc. She has a great pedigree & would be an excellent ICSI candidate. She is also still riding sound but has not been ridden since she was 2-3 years old. She is currently cycling.
