Born 4-18-18. “Mo’ is a buckskin colt with small star and strip, snip. Mo’s dam, Mujer Dewey Dial JW aka Dewey, is a beautiful bay mare that is 83% NFQHA. This is her fifth foal. Dewey was purchased from Grantier Quarter Horses because her mare line is very close to several of our VERY PROVEN ranch horses. We have her older full sister, Mujer Lucy Skip JW, already in the broodmare band and doing a very nice job for us. Mujer Tacky Jay, now deceased, made a name for himself producing using horses for the family, ranch, arena and youth. We really believe in these horse families. Dewey's first foal is a 2012 dark bay stud colt, Dewey Dial Reed JW by JK Jay Reed. Dewey was not bred for 2013. She was pasture exposed to JK Jay Reed again for 2014 and had a bay filly, Dewey Reno Reed JW. She was exposed to him again and had a bay stallion with absolutely no white on him, Dewey Ernie Reed JW. We switched her up and exposed her to Walter O Rielly for a 2016 foal. She had a stout buckskin filly, Caballero Drift JW that we kept for ourselves. She had a buckskin stallion in 2017 that went to Nebraska with a repeat buyer, Mufasa Drift JW.
Walter O Rielly aka Radar, has become a great addition to our program and this is his fifth foal crop for us. We were looking for a foundation Driftwood bred stallion to hopefully get some replacement fillies out of some of our better mares and one of those fillies is a full sister to this colt, 2016 Caballero Drift JW. Radar is a 90.234% foundation bred perlino stallion who goes to King P-234 ten times, to Driftwood four times with strong doses of Joe Reed, Three Bars and a little Doc Bar. Radar is a 16 hand horse with a huge stride and a gentle personality. Mo is the third foal for this pairing, but we are excited to see what he becomes. Both dam and sire are very laid back, so Mo should be as well and he is 87% NFQHA eligible. Mo s N/N on the Disease 5 Panel Testing as per his parents tests. Not for sale at this time!
