Born 4-25-16. Some years we do a fun theme for names.  This year we decided to go with American Made Muscle Cars from the 50s, 60s and 70s. We have had some fun researching them.  This stud colt is named after the 1962-1965 Dodge Dart 426 Hemi & 1968-1976 Dodge Dart GT, Swinger & Demon.

‘Dart’ is a bay stallion with no white on him at all. He is the third foal out of a mare with a slightly different bloodline for us.  Her dam is Zan Charm N Cash JW aka Charm, a chocolate palomino.  Charm was purchased from Grantier Quarter Horses because we’ve based many of our mares on their PROVEN PROGRAM that has produced many VERY PROVEN ranch and family horses.  Charm’s sire is Grantier’s outcross stallion who is a grandson of Sun Frost, Caseys Charm who is a million dollar mare, and Miss N Cash by Dash For Cash.  Those names speak for themselves as to what Charm brings to the table regarding pedigree.  Charm’s bottomside is generations deep in traditional Grantier breeding. 

Dart’s sire is TRR Paddys Texas Gin aka Tex. This is Tex’s eighth foal crop. He puts very thick and muscular foals on the ground with very nice muscle expression on them as well as a lot of athleticism and as they develop they have a lot of vigor. The oldest ones have been started under saddle by various buyers and we are hearing good things from all of them.  The Paddys Irish Whiskey horses are making a name for themselves in everything from cutting to cowhorse events to roping horses and are very versatile—Tanquery Gin, Doc O’Lena, Docs Starlight, Poco Tivio, Peppy San Badger.  Dart’s older sister, Paddys Gin Mocha JW, is in TN with a repeat buyer and they are extremely pleased with how she is maturing. 2015 foal Paddys Gin Jayla JW joined a repeat buyer in TN. Dart has that perfect speed/cowhorse pedigree and is bred for the ranch and arena. He is a bundle of muscle and will be for sale.

UPDATE 9-23-16.  Dart was such a nice colt to halter train.  He is now in his new home and ready for a good time. We wish his new owner all the best with him.
