 NOW IN WYOMING
Thanks to Garland Family!

Born 5-10-14. ‘Bandit’ is a bay stud colt with a star, snip, and appears to have four white feet. His dam, Zan Sun N Splash JW, is a palomino roan therefore; Bandit has a chance of roaning. We will wait and watch to see if that happens. He is this first foal for this mare and we are not disappointed! Sunday was purchased from Grantier Quarter Horses because we’ve based many of our mares on their PROVEN PROGRAM that has produced many VERY PROVEN ranch and family horses.  Sunday’s sire is Grantier’s outcross stallion who is a grandson of Sun Frost, Caseys Charm who is a million dollar mare, and Miss N Cash by Dash For Cash.  Those names speak for themselves as to what Sunday brings to the table regarding pedigree.  Her bottomside is generations deep in traditional Grantier breeding.
Bandit’s sire ‘Whoop’ is a 2010 son of Paddys Irish Whiskey and out of a great John Scott mare, My Little Sugar Babe. The Paddys Irish Whiskey horses are making a name for themselves in everything from cutting to cowhorse events to roping horses and are very versatile.  A key difference between Whoop Up Whiskey and our other PIW son, TRR Paddys Texas Gin, is the dam pedigree. While both dams go back to Doc O Lena, Whoop’s goes to Doc O Dynamite who also stood at the John Scott Ranch. Doc O Dynamite was an Equi-State leading cutting sire from 1999-2005 who produced money earners and according to his performance record, his daughters have produced many money earning foals in AQHA, NCHA, NRHA and NRCHA. Doc O Dynamite has a pedigree that traces back to Three Bars giving a bit more stretch and speed to his offspring and shows up on the pedigree of many arena and speed event horses. Whoop brings that little more height and length and speed to our program as compared to TRR Paddys Texas Gin. He has excellent bone, athleticism and conformation. His lineage tells us that his offspring will have cow and will be capable of performing at any level.

Bandit has that perfect speed/cow combination and should have the ability to really shine in the arena as a performance horse or as an all-around ranch horse. He will be for sale.

“Don’t miss a chance to COWBOY UP with this WHISKEY UP foal!”

UPDATE 11-29-14  Bandit is now at his new home in Wyoming where he will get the opportunity to live up to his cowhorse pedigree.  He turned out to be a real fun, friendly colt with a lot of personality and he halter broke really well.  We feel that if he is an example of his sire's offspring that good things will come from the rest as well.
