Born 4-29-14. ‘Jack Frost’ is Miss Jacks Wrangler’s first foal with Walter O Rielly. He is sooty buckskin with a blaze left blue eye and a left rear white ankle. Miss Jacks Wrangler aka Roxanne offers Two Eyed Jack, Rocket Wrangler, Bugs Alive in 75 and Triple Jill by Triple Chick . Wow!! Those names speak for themselves. ‘Roxanne’ is one of our best producers. She raises a big strong colt and does an excellent job as a mother. Her 2008 stallion, Peponita Bugseyed JW, went to Kansas as a stud prospect; 2009 filly, Paddys Gin Rocket JW aka Roxy, 2010 filly, Paddys Gin Alive JW aka Alli and 2012 filly, Paddys Gin Triple JW aka Trip are all in Tennessee as roping and show prospects. Roxy broke out very nicely and Alli has been shown in American Ranch Horse Association (ARHA) shows where she was reserve champion at yearling halter and is now in roping training. Roxanne’s 2011 colt, Paddys Gin Jango JW was sold here in ND. All of the ‘Paddys Gin’ offspring were by our stallion, TRR Paddys Texas Gin.
Although this is a different stallion for her, Roxanne sure didn’t disappoint us! She always has a good one! Jack Frost’s sire, Walter O Rielly aka Radar, is new to our program and this is his second foal crop. We were looking for a foundation Driftwood bred stallion to hopefully get some replacement fillies out of some of our better mares. Radar is a 90.234% foundation bred perlino stallion who goes to King P-234 ten times, to Driftwood four times with strong doses of Joe Reed, Three Bars and a little Doc Bar. Radar is a 16 hand horse with a huge stride and a gentle personality. We didn’t get a filly this go round so our loss is your gain. Jack Frost will be a big and stout horse. He should have a big motor with plenty of speed and size to go any direction from all around ranch horse, rope horse, or even barrel prospect. With Roxanne as his mama we fully expect him to look good doing what he will do. Jack Frost is Herda N/N because both his dam and sire are. He will be for sale.
UPDATE 10-26-14 Wow did Roxanne out do herself again this year! This grew and developed to be our top stud colt for the year. We are pretty excited about his future. He is gentle and responsive and yet has some spunk. He is staying in North Dakota and being pointed toward a roping career. We wish Austin every success with him.
