Thanks Michelle!

Born 4-19-14. ‘Stitch’ is a super nice, flashy bay grandson of Paddys Irish Whiskey. He has a cool strip on his face, two high rear stockings and a left front white ankle. We are very excited about this little guy as his mama has had 4 siblings by our Tex stud and they are all breaking out really nice. Stitch’s dam, Mujer Lady Dial JW aka Tiff, is one of our Mujer Tacky Jay daughters. She is 81% NFQHA and was purchased from Grantier Quarter Horses because her mare line is very close to several of our VERY PROVEN ranch horses. Mujer Tacky Jay, now deceased, made a name for himself producing using horses for the family, ranch, arena and youth. We really believe in these horse families. We really like Tiff’s stout build and kind personality. Her foals should be a very friendly and well-put-together with this mare as their mama. Her 2010 buckskin filly, Paddys Gin Dakota JW and 2011 bay colt, Paddys Gin Boba JW have stayed in ND. Both have broken out well and are currently being used on ranches. Her 2012 palomino filly, Paddys Gin Sage JW is in TX and has shown lots of potential as a 2 YO. Her 2013 bay filly, Paddys Gin Boogie JW, will be heading to North Caroline in fall 2014 and will not disappoint. This is her first Whoop Up Whiskey foal and his second stud colt for the year.

‘Whoop’ is a 2010 son of Paddys Irish Whiskey and out of a great John Scott mare, My Little Sugar Babe. The Paddys Irish Whiskey horses are making a name for themselves in everything from cutting to cowhorse events to roping horses and are very versatile.  A key difference between Whoop Up Whiskey and our other PIW son, TRR Paddys Texas Gin, is the dam pedigree. While both dams go back to Doc O Lena, Whoop’s goes to Doc O Dynamite who also stood at the John Scott Ranch. Doc O Dynamite was an Equi-State leading cutting sire from 1999-2005 who produced money earners and according to his performance record, his daughters have produced many money earning foals in AQHA, NCHA, NRHA and NRCHA. Doc O Dynamite has a pedigree that traces back to Three Bars giving a bit more stretch and speed to his offspring and shows up on the pedigree of many arena and speed event horses. Whoop Up Whiskey aka Whoop brings that little more height and length and speed to our program as compared to TRR Paddys Texas Gin. He has excellent bone, athleticism and conformation. His lineage tells us that his offspring will have cow and will be capable of performing at any level. We are excited about this pairing and can’t wait to see how Stitch matures and develops.  He will be for sale.

UPDATE 10-6-14 Wow! What can we say about this first foal of Whoop Up Whiskey that we are offering for sale. The dam is a proven disposition with very trainable foals. Stitch is fancy with a very soft eye and looks to be shedding dark. Not as dark as his sire, but still a darker gorgeous bay.  He is absolutely striking to look at and his disposition was first rate during halter training.  He is now headed to California and we wish Michelle all the best success with him!!

“Don’t miss a chance to COWBOY UP with this WHISKEY UP foal!”
