‘BB’ is 91% NFQHA (F0035146). This 2011 buckskin was purchased from Stearns Quarter Horses as a weanling. She is one of the last foals from both her dam and sire. They are both from bloodlines and using ranch type horses that have stood the test of time. We are finding that our other Two Eyed Jack mares are proving to be awesome crosses on our Paddys Irish Whiskey sons. Wow…what more could we ask than to add this double bred Watch Joe Jack mare to our line up. Watch Joe Jack was one of Two Eyed Jacks tops sons and was one of his top open performance point-earners. BB’s maternal grandsire is Caballero Mujer. He is the grandsire to the several Mujer Tacky Jay daughters that we have in our broodmare bunch. In fact Mujer Tacky Jay himself was raised at the Stearns Ranch. BB was started under saddle fall of her 2 year old year. She did very well and had a very quick walk. BB had always been very friendly all alone and after starting she even more wanted to be your friend and stick with her rider with a quiet disposition. Spring 2014 as a 3 year old we were tuning her up and she got a cosmetic injury to her left rear ankle which laid her up a couple months. The summer got busy and we had others to ride and she just sort of stood around. She is big and stout and was just rode once in 2015. Although she is 5 she would be classified as a very green broke horse because she has not had the miles. We are going a different direction with our breeding program so we are not retaining her for our program. Short video and additional pictures available upon request.
