Born 5-30-10. If you like chrome and unique faces, this is the fancy colt for you. Take a look! Jagged white on all four and quite the face—similar to his dam, but the white is connected. We bought UR A Little Sugar aka Hurricane last fall bred to a nice buckskin grandson of Frenchmans Guy, Cowbowin A Frenchman. On the topside take note of Beduino and Roll The Cash. We call the mare Hurricane and are going to call the colt ‘Tornado’—NOT because of wild dispositions, but the opposite—unique horses need names with a little extra pizzazz. Tornado should really be a performer with size, speed, athleticism as well as balance. It will be nice to see him performing in the future. Here’s a link to his 2009 full sister, Sugar A Frenchman, as a weaning last fall. We purchased Hurricane to add Sugar Bars and more Roan Bar to our program. We were hoping for a filly to retain for our program, but she has done a top notch job with this great stud colt. The earliest pictures were taken at 2 days of age. $1750 (US)
UPDATE 11-20-10. Tornado really developed into a top notch colt and we expect that he could be stallion quality as well. He is very smart and halter trained nicely. He is now in Alabama with Michael along with Charmander Reed JW and Peponita Docs Fly JW. We wish Michael every success with all three of them. His dam is pasture exposed to JK Jay Reed for 2011.
