Born 6-12-09. ‘Roxy’ is quite the filly--beautiful bay with a big symmetrical star and solid legs/no white. She is a granddaughter of Paddys Irish Whiskey by our young stallion, TRR Paddys Texas Gin aka Tex. Her dam is Miss Jacks Wrangler. Take a good look at Roxy’s pedigree. You cannot ask for a better performance-speed combination. Peppy San Badger, Doc’s Starlight, Doc Bar, Tanquery Gin, Doc O’ Lena, Poco Tivio on top and Two Eyed Jack, Rocket Wrangler, Bugs Alive in 75 and Triple Jill by Triple Chick on the bottom. Wow!! Those names speak for themselves. She is a strong vigorous filly that was up sucking and loping circles within a half an hour. She is feminine and put together just right. The Paddys Irish Whiskey horses are making a name for themselves in everything from cutting to cowhorse events to roping horses and are very versatile. The shot of speed on Roxy’s bottom side added to the strong ‘cow’ instinct should be a great combination for any event or ranching and she’s certainly got the pedigree to go the broodmare bunch later on. HERDA N/N.
UPDATE 7-4-14. Roxy was originally purchased as a weanling by Lawson Quarter Horses. When they dispersed their horses we got the opportunity to buy her back. She was the first foal by her sire that we've had the opportunity to start under saddle. She is very athletic and stout. She has been purchased by a repeat buyer and will be joining her 2010 full sister, Paddys Gin Alive JW, in Tennessee. Roxy was pasture exposed to our new stallion, Walter O Rielly, before she left and unfortunately she lost the foal. She is bred to a speed bred stallion for a 2015 foal. We are very excited to hear about Roxy's future with Liz in Tennessee!
