Thanks Moffitt Family!

Born 6-27-18. ‘Stan’ is a smoky black roan stallion. He has a small star on his forehead. His dam is a slightly different bloodline for us, Zan Frost N Dash JW aka Blue, a true-blue roan.  Blue was purchased from Grantier Quarter Horses because we’ve based many of our mares on their PROVEN PROGRAM that has produced many VERY PROVEN ranch and family horses.  Blue’s sire is Grantier’s outcross stallion who is a grandson of Sun Frost, Caseys Charm who is a million-dollar mare, and Miss N Cash by Dash For Cash.  Those names speak for themselves as to what Blue brings to the table regarding pedigree.  Blue’s bottomside is generations deep in traditional Grantier breeding.

Stan’s sire is Walter O Rielly aka Radar.  He has become a great addition to our program and this is his sixth foal crop for us. We were looking for a foundation Driftwood bred stallion to hopefully get some replacement fillies out of some of our better mares. Radar is a 90.234% foundation bred perlino stallion who goes to King P-234 ten times, to Driftwood four times with strong doses of Joe Reed, Three Bars and a little Doc Bar. Radar is a 16-hand horse with a huge stride and a gentle personality. He has excellent bone, athleticism and conformation. His lineage tells us that his offspring will have cow and will be capable of performing at any level.

Stan has that perfect speed/cowhorse pedigree and is bred for the ranch and arena.  His maternal 2013 brother, Paddys Gin Tango JW, developed more than fantastically with his buyer purchasing a second colt from us later on.  His 2014 maternal sibling, Paddys Gin Dash JW was a fantastic colt that had an injury that was not survivable.  He also had a maternal 2015 sister, Paddys Gin Juno JW who has gone on to be started very well under saddle and we hear good things about her.

Stan is a first time cross but we know enough about Radar an enough about Blue and our visual of him at his young age to know what to expect. Stan should be a big horse with the old school speed and foundation breeding to be a great all-around prospect. He already has a wonderful stride and should be an excellent arena or ranch prospect.  He is also a smoky black roan which means that he is a black horse that carries one copy of the cream gene and roan gene his visual coloring with be a dull black roan or blue roan. From a genetic standpoint if he were to stay a stallion he could produce buckskins, palominos, roans and other smoky blacks dependent upon the mare he is bred to.  These first pictures are at only 1 day of age.  We will update as he matures.

We are also offering his dam, 2009 Zan Frost N Dash JW for sale in a combination of package options.
