Born 4-27-14.  ‘Sonic’ is flashy blaze face palomino stud colt with white on his two front feet.  He is out of one of our Docs Flying Peppy daughters, Docs Dolly Expert aka Dolly. Docs Flying Peppy was sired by Doc’s Flying Bar x Doc Bar who stood at Texas A&M University. Dolly is one of our top mares producing athletic babies with speed, style and a tremendous amount of cow. She is an appendix mare with Doc Bar on her papers, Mr San Peppy just once off and also going back to Jet Deck top and bottom through Jet Smooth and Shujet. Her maternal grandsire was Deckabo (SI 102). Dolly’s mother, Babe, was an awesome mare that was a broodmare, working ranch mare, excellent teacher for our youngest son as a ranch horse, 4-H and family rodeo horse. Babe’s been greatly missed here on the ranch since she passed away. Dolly’s previous foals with us are 2009 Docs Racer Reed JW and 2010 Docs Reed Jet JW who are both in Tennessee with a repeat buyer.  2011 Paddys Gin Allana JW is at Flying O Horses and 2012 Paddys Gin Breezy JW is in Minnesota where she is currently a reined cowhorse prospect.  Her 2013 stallion, Docs Hustle Drift JW, has joined a buyer in Oklahoma as a barrel prospect. Sonic’s sire, Walter O Rielly aka Radar, is new to our program and this is his second foal crop. We were looking for a foundation Driftwood bred stallion to hopefully get some replacement fillies out of some of our better mares.  Radar is a 90.234% foundation bred perlino stallion who goes to King P-234 ten times, to Driftwood four times with strong doses of Joe Reed, Three Bars and a little Doc Bar.  Radar is a 16 hand horse with a huge stride and a gentle personality.  We are very pleased with this colt.  Sonic is going to have some speed and stride and be able to cover ground.  He looks to be able to be a ranchers delight, barrel racer, English horse or good buddy.  Sonic is Herda N/N because both his dam and sire are.  He will be for sale.
